The importance of considering the scientific problem is to ensure the effective management of financial flows in food industry, from the point of view of demonstrating the possibility of forming a stable growth of enterprises on the basis of optimal levels of the determinant factors (economic profitability, the ratio of flexibility of own capital, return on sale, the shares of borrowed funds, reinvestment rate of profit, operating cash flow ratio). The theoretical significance and the application of the thesis. Applied application is : to specify in a concrete form and with details the concepts of financial flows and financial resources; to clarify and to systematize the main barriers to the efficient functioning of the food industry in the Republic of Moldova from 2010 till 2014; to group the food industry enterprises by efficiency of cash flow management and from the point of view of their development; to choose the instruments, necessary for ensuring the modeling this instruments with the goal to ensure an effective management of the food industry in terms of sustainable growth and maintaining a financial balance; in testing and evaluation of the effect of an econometric model based on the food industry enterprises and to determine the optimal levels of the main indicators of stable growth and maintenance of financial balance. The recommendations and the proposed technique can be used by public authorities in the developing of programs of support and development of strategies of enterprises in food industry; the financial managers of this enterprises, involved in the process of effective management of financial flows. Moreover, the researchers can also be used in the field of high education process with teaching courses on specific subjects. Implementation of scientific results: some of the dissertation`s recommendations have been used in the work process of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova.
